You may have a code of conduct for employees and/or visions and values to provide structure in the workplace and when out meeting clients.
A code of conduct often doesn’t translate to online communications on social media. Generally people like rules and don’t want to make a mistake. Share your vision and values as a guide of how you want to be portrayed online. You can also outline your marketing and PR strategy so everyone is clear on the direction the company is taking.
We meet with senior management, the heads of marketing, sales and HR to review and develop a code of conduct that reflects the values and goals of the company. We also help you develop a code for posts by the public on all of your social media accounts which states clearly that you will remove any questionable posts.
Explaining the online code of conduct is part of every certification training session.
